As a College living the legacy of St Mary (of the Cross) MacKillop, Our Lady’s is committed to the education of the ‘head and heart’. We are a Catholic girls Secondary College that is centrally located and living the motto and challenge “Ad Altiora” (Ever Higher). Established in 1964 by the Sisters of St Joseph, values of Tradition, Excellence and Community are readily apparent in our girls, who are supported in their learning by highly professional, experienced and dedicated staff. Since 1976 Our Lady’s has been administered by Brisbane Catholic Education and so the College enjoys connection with approximately 145 other Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Brisbane and 32 Josephite schools across Australia and New Zealand. With our Master Plan being actioned this year, Our Lady’s facilities and streetscape is growing and changing. The imminent inclusion of Year 7 into Secondary in 2015 will see our optimum size of approximately 550 girls. This means that Our Lady’s girls will continue to be nurtured in their learning in smaller than usual class groupings and achieving wonderful results… Come and meet me for a personal tour of our College at 9am on the 1st Friday of each month. Please contact the College office on 3848 7462 to make an appointment. QAGTC thanks Our Lady's College for providing the venue and support for QAGTC Conference.
